Accommodation
The conference will be held in the hotel "VRNJAČKE TERME" (www.vrnjacketerme.rs) in Vrnjačka Banja (www.vrnjackabanja.co.rs/en), a town and municipality in central Serbia. Situated in a great park full of trees, with particularly charming houses, Vrnjačka Banja is the most celebrated and most popular spa town in Serbia and, at the same time, a very attractive recreation centre. In the vicinity of Vrnjačka Banja there are UNESCO protected medieval buildings, which serve as a reminder of early European civilization. The other nearby landmarks include the first seat of the Serbian Archbishop - the Žiča Monastery and the Sopoćani Monastery, which both date back to the thirteenth century as well as the twelfth century Studenica Monastery; all of them are nestled in the colourful Ibar river valley. Vrnjačka Banja owes its reputation to its therapeutic effects known already to the Roman troops in the second century AD. It was modernized by the Czech Baron Herder in 1835 because Prince Miloš Obrenović wanted it to look like Karlovy Vary. Since then, it has been receiving tourists from southern Europe, who come either to rest or for treatment. With walks organized along the tree-lined paths, Vrnjačka Banja is an ideal place for regeneration and relaxation. Several mineral springs are well- positioned in the park. In the summer, Vrnjačka Banja transforms into one of the greatest cultural centres in Serbia offering literary evenings in a very nice and modern library, classical concerts and the film screenplay festival.
The closest airports to Vrnjačka Banja are Morava airport Kraljevo (40 km), Niš airport (110 km) and Belgrade airport (190 km). There are regular bus lines from these cities to Vrnjačka Banja.
ACCOMMODATION RESERVATION
The price of accommodation and full board in the Hotel “Vrnjačke Terme” (https://vrnjacketerme.rs) for participants of the conference HM 2023 will be 5.355 RSD (around 45.6 EUR) per person-day in a double room and 8.160 RSD (around 69.5 EUR) per person day in a single room.
Accommodation reservations at these prices can only be made through the organizer until June 5, 2023.
